Do you really need the faster attacks gem?
I've played EA with scion and marauder (blood magic based) using a quill rain and always was able to stack 5 fuses without using a faster attack gem.
Having a blue socket there instead would really help with the clear speed (by using increased aoe) and extra damage versus bosses (by replacing incr. aoe with concentrated effect for those fights); or use elemental focus if you don't intend on igniting the mobs.
(Btw replacing GMP with slower projectiles for boss fights also helps with the damage).

You should also take Elemental Equilibrium on the tree. It is one of the biggest damage boosts you can get from the tree. Due to the cold damage on your ring every enemy hit by an arrow will have -50 fire resists once the explosion goes off.

I like to attack as fast as I could. It's not mandatory.

AOE is nice. But I really hate changing gems for boss fights)))

Test Elemental Focus gem, it don't give as much dps as ignite does.

Yes, forget about it, it's important if you can spam ROA.

I find it intresting that you chose the witch for this. Nontheless my approach for prophecy will be with the scion. I have never played EA before so my tree is a wild guess based only on expirience and knowledge of the game (600 hours+). Would you take a look at it for me please and give me you opinion?

It's nice. There is different ways for EA, but i think life based one is much better and Hierophant Templar is the best for it due to reduction of mana cost to 0.
