There are no heroes. Unless you take a skill point from bandit quest on all difficulties you can't really claim otherwise, since you're letting one of the bandit clans freely rampage the act 2 area! Killing Dominus is more or less a journey for revenge, and the jump between act 3 and 4 story lines is, at least from what I gathered of it, so detached that I stopped paying attention to it instantly.

i guess you could make a case for Piety as the redeemed/tragic hero, but obviously the exile you play is the "hero"
