Laptop performance improvement suggestion

I have played a lot of this game and have come to notice a trend in performance issues for laptops.
I spoke with several friends in game who also use laptops and they have this reoccurring
problem as well. It may be possible to fix this issue for laptop users.

The problem:
During certain visual effects laptops have a major frame rate drop.
Known effect list:
light blue auroras after Ice trap
Smoke cloud after Storm call (and possibly flame blast too)
Shadowed ground after Shavronne of Umbra's lightning warp/storm call skill
There may be other effects as well.

The possible fix:
Option to turn these effects off in the options menu would not hurt game
play at all as these are after effects and not the effects of
skills themselves.

Thoughts anyone?

What is technically different about a laptop that you are drawing attention to (compared to desktop I assume)?
Smaller CPU, smaller ram, are generally the things that set laptops/old desktops
and new desktops apart and would help even in new desktops as ice trap has been
said to cause trouble even for higher end PCs.

I merely stated laptop as an example, it applies to all PC's however, the improvement
would affect laptops more, as the frame rate drops are not as bad on desktops.
On paper, my laptop is way more powerful than my desktop and the game is barely playable on my laptop since 2.2.1e.

I don't use a laptop, but i definitely have some kind of issue with ice traps as well.

Whatever the case this game seems to have trouble with fluctuating
transparency. Especially with multiple entities of it.
(ice trap has 9 each for a total of 36 with cluster trap)

It also seems to have greater fps loss when two of the transparent
entities overlap.

non-fluctuating transparent entities/objects seem to not cause this problem.
you should try

Frost bomb cluster trap, Ice cluster trap, and orb of storms all at once...

Ground? what ground?

...I look at the new act 5 boss where you have to hide behind the statues to survive the bullet hell and all I can think is... how the fuck are zombies going to survive that?

They don't know what hiding is... they don't know what dodging is... they are morons.
Im playing with my Asus N55SF-S1359V. My graphic card is "Geforce GT555M" and non updated because when i update my graphic card im taking blue screen after 5-10 min. in any 3D based game.

So, if your laptop performance is not enough solution is so simple. Upgrade your system. Graphic card, Ram, HDD, SSD, etc. I've no money to build a new pc atm but when i have it i'll choose desktop because laptop heating up so much and hard to protect it from liquids or any sort of physical damage. Dont search for tricks about laptop systems, upgrade your system.

Please do not misperception. Nobody dont have to do anything for a non-sync game. This is just the best solution. I've never heard any problems about Titan Graphic Card users.

Good days.
Neden yaşıyorsun?
There wouldn't be a need for hundreds of people to drop
thousands of dollars on hardware, if they just had an option
to turn these effects off. I'm not saying it would be an easy
task to make this option available but it would be an easier
than other options and faster too.

They have recently mentioned improving performance is
one of their priorities. It might be the best place to start.
