atziri..
When people say that you are missing skill they really mean that you are missing the experience. I took me quite a good amount of trys on aa very atziri optimized character to kill her without dying. I still consider myself rather bad in running atziri (I've killed her ~30 times now) but with every try I'm getting noticeably better. It really all comes down to experience as one little mistake can and will be fatal. The Atziri fight is the most unforgiving fight imho.

First time fighting her, very dps heavy build and a reflect mechanic i didnt know about. Appreciate the rest of the comments but this is it.

"Good luck on your next run through there. You'll get the hang of it. Took me several tries at first but I didn't have a strong dps build so I was dying to mental fatigue and low flasks during the fight. Sound the dread alarm, through the primal body! Sound the reveille, to be or not to be. Rise! Stay the grand finale! Stay the reading of our swan song and epilogue. One drive to stay alive! Elementary, muster every fiber. Mobilize! Stay alive!

"thank you,I look forward to the next round with her. |

Ignoring mechanics for a sec (I realise the fight is heavily mechanics based), would 46k cyclone and 92k heavy strike be acceptable re dps to clear in a reasonable time? (Juggernaut Cyclone Marauder with IC, 5 end charges and 4 frenzy)
I will write something here when I can think of something clever and amusing.

Atziri is not a boss designed that you can win by mere outlasting. Uber Atziri is currently designed such that she can 1 hit KO any character in game.
You just need to research more. I suggest you research on the trio boss before her as well. Chances are once you tailor your character to survive Atziri the trio instead becomes harder for you. |

" Anything with 20k dps can clear the normal atziri with ease,
Spoiler
I remember getting my first kill with my first char, was some ridiculously low HP RF marauder in shit rare gear which barely costed 15c including the rise of the phoenix which I bought from some scammer for like 30c, could not even kill the ads in the flask charge phase, but managed to do it somehow. As for now I just roll up 50 blades on my lowlife blade vortex scion, stand over the blue handed spawn, activate flasks, kill it instantly, then repeat it 3 more time. Ofc the purpose is different, when you are trying to farm uber sets you rather go for the fast way. Now just to go back to your question and give you a serious answer: Endurance charges won't do shit for you in the boss fight. Frenzy charges won't do shit for you in the boss fight, unles you have some black magic to generate them on a cycloner. You need around 6k life to be able to brute force the split phase, including facetanking flameblasts(it is not hard to bait them tho) and dodging storm calls. Ah and I have no clue if that tooltip dps is enough for it, never play builds that have proper tooltip. As for the trio, the lion's roar flask is really sweet on melee,no idea why was it (intentionally) useless before with that flask charge limitation. The knockbacks should keep you safe. " Does it really work? I have always been told that once the spell is cast, it's too late to pop up your flask. |

It is outrageously inconsistent. some skills behave this way while others do take in account changes in your defense that happen after that skills start charging. I heard Atziri lameblasts work the second way(i.e. flasks do count), although didn't check it myself because I don't have enough hp to test it anyway :)
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much. Last edited by silumit#4080 on Mar 21, 2016, 6:33:37 AM

If you have trouble identifying which one is the safe clone to hit, just attack the one with the glowy blue light when they spawn. That is a safe one.
