Attributes per level

Did you know that life leech rate is capped depending to your max life. Therefore, adding life adds life leech ;)

No.

Adding more life increases the potential health per second, but the amount leeched depends on physical damage and life leech %.

DMG * LL * AS / MAX life

where:
DMG = Physical damage
LL = % life leech as a decimal
AS = Attacks per second

If this value is below 0.2, you are not getting capped and adding more life will not affect the rate at which you gain life from leeching.

If this value is above 0.2 then adding more life will impact life leech during combat.

Sure, but what's important is the rate, not the amount. You get capped pretty easily, and having leech during 10 sec after the battle won't help you much.

Don't worry, I know perfectly how it works and why it needs some rework as well.

Back on topic, I'd like a return of the attributes per level. But I'd rather make them different for each class.
ex : 2/0/0 for marauder, 1/1/0 for duelist, etc

I have not found it easy to get capped, but perhaps I inadvertantly acquire more health than most.

1000 hp
2000 dps
5 targets
2% LL

Capped, I don't think it's a rare situation.

Don't mobs have armor and evasion? I think it is damage done not damage shown.

Also, if Cleave is giving you five targets isn't the listed DPS for the main one, while the others take X% Less? If it is Greater Multiple Projectiles, then ignore.

Edit: On topic, I feel that stats, stat requirement need some rework as is. Equipment more so than gems. I think that some equipment is just to easy to equip without speccing for it. zril's idea plus higher stat requirements on items could work well.

dps means true dps, not bugged character sheet dps.
5 targets doesn't mean cleave.

Please be honest a little bit, 1000 hp is more than many people hp, 2000 true dps isn't so high, 5 target isn't too many for many aoe skill, 2% LL is pretty low. Yet it get capped in one second.
I'm not criticizing the cap, it's great design, I wish there were some mods/passive to modify it though.
Saying you don't need hp when you do massive lifeleech (as he said) is completely false, period. I'm just giving an advice here.

On topic, actually I think gem requirements need more work than equipment, but I've already made tons of post about that...
But yeah, everything is basically too easy to equip making attribute speccing less and less relevant, especially now that there many +30 attributes everywhere.

right now im playing a lightning-arrow ranger who uses iron grip.

so in my case i seek out str nodes, the +30 ones are tasty!
