Can't see decree of thunder working

I feel like it's doing something, but I just can't see it. Probably because of too many sparks. I don't see any buff on me nor any animation. What exactly does this look like? Is the visual effect working and I'm just missing it?

Besides the passive damage it adds to your skills, it activates when you kill a shocked enemy (so if you're using spark and say three dragons it will not work), and for a short time after you'll see small bolts of lightning randomly hit enemies near you. If there are no enemies near you (if you're alwawys clearing the screen with spark), herald of thunder will be active, but doing nothing. If you're running the Elemental Focus support gem, spark will not shock (even if it crits), and HoT will also not proc.

I was talking about the glove enchantment, not the herald ability :p.

You can see the stats of Glove enchants on the [C]haracter sheet. Triggering it under controlled conditions is the easiest way to see what it does. For example, if it's on-Hit, just punch something with whatever weapon you have, rather than casting 1500 sparks :P

oh yes I saw it now, thanks for the tip. Decided to wand some crap on act 1 normal. Kind of looks like a single pulse of lightning tendrils all around you. It's a lot harder to see during my normal gameplay. Didn't know about that character sheet thing either! It deals substantially more damage than my sparks apparently. Good to know.
