Energy from within miscalculation bug ? melding vs quick recovery nodes.

My totel energy shield without the energy from within jewel:
8035

My total energy shield with the energy from within jewel socketed between templar and witch, with nodes giving a total of 14%[ 4+4+6 ]:
8424

My total energy shield with the energy from within jewel soekcted between shadow and witch, with nodes giving a total of 40% [ 8+8+8+16 ] :
8441

I'm pretty sure there should not be a difference of 17 energy shield with 26% increased energy shield added.
Or there is something i'm missing.
