Now that putting buy orders is only possible with premium stash tabs, is that significant P2W?

Currently, the only way to put a buy order is by using the "note" function of premium stash tab to specifiy that your buyout price is not for selling the item but for actually buying an item.
Example "~b/o 5c (I want to buy this item, not sell)". This is not possible using any 3rd party tools. Since buy orders in regular economies are as important as sell orders and now buy orders are only available for those with premium stash tabs, has the "convenience" gone too far? I'd laugh if poe.trade blacklisted everyone who did this like people were blacklisted for putting a price of 0 chaos. It's really annoying to search for items and then get past the people who aren't actually selling.

" The difference is that someone putting a sell order of 0 chaos has no intention of honoring that sell order. Someone putting a buy order has most likely the intention of honoring their buy order. Well it was more that they were selling the items but not with a buyout price and wanted to dodge the buyout only filter with the added bonus that their items appear before people who had set a proper buyout.
Ideally sites like poe.trade could just add another filter that filters out items with notes, then you could avoid these items if you wanted. I suppose people are just trying to work around a massive limitation of the system we currently rather than be asshats like the 0 chaos people. |

Stash tabs where always a benefit you get from paying real money. Premium stash tabs are even bigger one. Is it pay to win or not depends from you personally and what you thing is a threshold to call a game pay to win. Some people consider exp boosts not pay to win. But overall in PoE people that pay with real money do have a benefit over people that dont, and with premium stash tabs the benefit is even bigger than before. Now with this its a huge boost to people that pay. And with new trading additional that will maybe be tided to premium stash tabs it will get a lot worse.

Do sellers actually use this feature? Wouldn't it always be easier to simply put the item up to sale instead of searching for it on poe.trade and then hoping to find someone with a buy order note?
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
