GGG, this is why Ascendancy is so popular.

There is still an economy to be had in this league. The 5-link 6-link market will hit its stride in the next few days, and there will also be a new market based around enchants. I agree with you though that some of the farm economy factor has been diminished. It's more of a crafting economy than a lucky drop one this time around.

Which is pretty good for the game in general (people spending currency in actual crafting, ohmy, what is this witchery), also a market around rares, jewels, etc.

What people does not realize is that market for items has increased over the years immensely with new item slots and affixes being added as well as build diversity. The game should have never (and initially it wasn't) about hitting jackpot with one stupid unique. The enchantments are going to increase market size a lot more too considering all possible combinations with base items.

Uniques should be build enablers, nothing more, in this game; why? because that's good for itemization, and that's one of the reasons you can have a healthye conomy, a huge variance in items (specially as the player-base increases). I disagree with the BiS unique crappola balanced by rarity GGG has allowed to build up since open beta, I would rather see rare affixes like 'chaos dmg cannot bypass energy shield' or 'phys dmg received converted to lightning dmg' being able to roll in rares increasing itemization furthermore. In this regard weapon unique are much better balanced (as most of them are actually build enablers instead of relatively better than their rares counterparts).

Is very very very funny you mention this, cause many think that the labyrinth is anything but entertaining.

I love the labyrinth, Izaro on the other hand is pretty annoying

Those shiny yellow guys look a little too rippy to me. Maybe that's why I only have 34 gp

They aren't bad. They are only rippy when two spawn close together, or they spawn near an Exile or near one of the area bosses or a rare with cannot die or...

Huh, maybe they are rippy. :)

Still - many people play this game a lot for the trading factor. Trading is one of the biggest advantages PoE has - Diablo doesn't. So when prices hit the ground that drastically like it is in this season, many players will stop playing (farming) pretty soon. The feeling of looting something very big has vanished a bit cause of that coin dude who is selling insane Items for a bunch of coins. But it is like it is - you can't make a game working for each and everyone.

Also thats big hit for rmt's and other sides, because prices down ALOT

the problem is: trading is still there. and it even got improved.

see point 1.
additionally, what is interesting in collecting coins from chests that only have one use?

See a pattern?

yep, they're killing my (before unreachable) goals (getting my hands on these endgame items) that kept me playing all the years. a goal which is reached, is no goal anymore.

Some of us just want to play the game. And there is no problem with it.

yes, there is: why do you want to sink unlimited hours into the game when a 6-link lighning coil is just 1 or 2 exalts away and a shavronnes wrapping goes for 20 chaos?

for most of the players, reaching level 85 to 90 is all they want to do. some get there in 2 or 3 days already. now there will be massively more players getting bored in less than a week.

for me this game will be dead if i find an endgame item and selling it to the ingame trader becomes an option.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
OP is this a troll post? You think everyone loves the lab?

How anyone can enjoy walking around dead ends dodging traps with mouse clicks to be rewarded by a 1 in 300 chance to get an enchant they cant see that will override their existing enchant is beyond me. It is the most tedious thing in the entire game.

Labyrinth was always going to be something that some love and some really don't like at all. It's a really cool part of the game, but you're certainly correct in the fact that it's extremely tedious.

It's another end-game option though which is something we've been craving for a long time here. I'm still going to run a few hundred maps this league, but I'm glad I have something I can run to take a break from them, even if it is tedious and rage inducing at times.
I hate the labyrinth, because of traps and simple puzzles, as I hate that type of gameplay. But because it is needed to get the subclasses, I need to do them. If I could get sub classes without going to crappy lab I would not care about this new dungeon and never run them.

Really hope GGG will separate the subclass points from the lab in the future

They might, but I like that they are a reward for getting through what is perhaps the toughest ARPG dungeon ever. Enchantments are cool and whatnot but the Ascendancy points are a really strong reward that lines up well with the difficulty.
