Hey there,
Can you please check/tick the option that is next to the 'Join Global chat' option ? This should allow you to join the global channels and interact with other players. You can also do this by checking the box ontop of the chatbox in game here:

" like i said in my explanation - yes i can see people chatting in global chat and trade chat(if i turn it on, but in my screenshot i turned it off for the meantime) - i cant see ANY of my messages in chat box(me sending the message) - i cant receive any pm's in my chat box - i cant see my guild mates chatting in the chat box |

Could you post a second screenshot with the chat box open, and after you've typed and sent a message (whether it shows up or not).

Just make sure the OUTPUT DIALOGUE TO CHAT button is ticked, and retest please.
