about fusing 20% quality on armor is useless?

did the chance of getting 6 link became lower? already spent almost 2k fuse on my armor.

2k isn't all that unusual. Bad luck I would say. They did note that fusing no longer removes quality and that each 1% of quality increases your chance of getting 5 or 6L by 1%... so make sure you're at 20% quality.

Remember:
20% HIGHER CHANCE of 0% chance is still 0% ;-)

ive 6linked 4-5times , all under 1k fuses you have super shitty luck.
all of my 6links were way before it gained a higher chance.
i never used scraps on armor or weapons either.
my highest fuse ammount was around 1.2k
lowest 76
midtier 500something.

sometimes items are just cursed ive developed placebos to only do 10.20tries per day or closing my eye - you´ve to think positive and justs keep on clicking sounds weird but it worked for me.

also make sure that something you throw your own fuses at , are actually worth keeping longterm or buy a 6link already instead of wasting 10-20-30exalts of fuses on a 1ex item.

the average even with 20% was around 1200, there was nothing stopping the unlucky from spending 3k or more fusing, the quality bonus just helped a little.

When did it gain a higher chance? In a reddit post Chris Wilson said that using armourer's scraps and whetstones more than doubled the chance to get a 6 link. With this new patch the chance is now 20% better. I may be wrong about it but I would think 100%+ vs 20% is a reduced chance to get a 6 link.

why would you waste 2-3k of fuses, when most 6l are 15ex or under. It just makes no sense to 6l anything now.

6L light coil are around 12ex.

Just ... like buy ... one.

Tried fusing a legacy coil today, 6L in 60 fuses :D

That being said, it's still RNG so I wouldn't really expect miracles.

I taught its easier to 6link now since 20%Q is always there.. but now its still luck learned my lesson :) going to use vorici from now on :)
