Public Stash Tab - Currency trading

Hello and good time of day.

If i mark tab as "b/o 1 chaos" and fill with currency units (like stacks of 15 alt, 6 chance etc), will it work / indexate, or it better to exchange currency in trade chat as before.

BTW, trade chat almost dead. Ever less mesages then on global.

Thanks in advance.

im also really curious about this.. do i have to list as a stack?
It will not put it up on currency.poe.trade. You need to actually open a shop up on that page to list your currency offers.

Click manage shop and work through it and it will be a simple set up. If you don't like third party websites/programs though, kind of out of luck.

you got a source on this?

i was under the impression you could still price a stack of orbs in a public stash tab and it gets sent to currently poe.trade

Spoiler
only problem here was that ggg had a wrong understanding on how poe.trade defines the prices, they assumed poe.trade takes the given price for the whole stack of currency and implemented that changing the stack (taking away or adding orbs) would remove that price but poe.trade ever calculated the price for a single orb out of the stack.

when ggg learned about it they promised to revert to the old behaviour (not fiddle with your price for a stack), don't know if this made it into the game yet.

I stand corrected. I didn't bother actually searching in regular poe.trade because the search bar didn't auto fill like it did for any other item like normal. Just tried it and they do show up in the normal poe.trade search even though the search bar will not auto fill as you type it out.

That's what I get for being lazy.

However, I still don't know if it puts said offer on currency.poe.trade since I assume that is all controlled by managing your own currency shop directed at that particular url rather than the normal poe.trade. Don't have time to test it at the moment though. Maybe after my job interview today.

i'm not into currency flipping either, never bothered with currency.poe.trade for selling there.

good luck on your interview.

Even if you are not a flipper, near the end of the leagues or in standard when you have 5k+ currencies in your currency tab and want to trade up to clear room, it saves having to scour trade chat for actual flippers that will give you bad deals where currency.poe.trade automatically orders by best deal available.
