Merciless Labyrinth - ok, so you expect what?

This was my experience lvl91 scion discharger occultist (hoping to be slayer as well but need 6 points to get that).

Took a few tries (obligatory traps deaths - then used precision jumping using leap slam - works well).

finally made it too endboss fight, and this is what I was presented with - Triple curse totems - slow, ele, fragility or something like that, which curse you pretty much every 10s or so, need surgeons (which I have so np there), furnace & spinning spike traps, and too top it off Izaro runs away teleporting you through the traps, so there real question is how can you mitigate this kind of damage?

Izaro himself doesn't do that much damage too me when facetanking but the run away/teleporting into traps then he coming at you too finish you off I could get him down too ~20% life then I just run out of flasks, and its not like you can run away, you have to fight close else he spits at you so - how?

When you have characters that attack at high speed and have movement flasks up at any time (curse removal), he runs away and because of insane attack speed you inevitably follow this is not a matter of skill its a matter of - er this mechanic sucks.

I think that both Izaro and Argus have WAY too much hp, even their hp in cruel is already a lot higher than that of most merciless bosses.

Main issue I can see is getting unlucky teleport to spike trap+his charge, that oneshots non tanky characters.
during the Triple curse totems mechanic fight, did you DPS murder him without waiting and destroying his mechanics first?

because DPS murdering him will automatically bring his mechanics to the next fight

a good counter for people who only go awol against bosses because they have very high DPS

Actually no, it is only good for medium-dps people who can kill him fast in 1st fight but then don't have enough DPS to do the same in the last one.
OTOH, imba DPS builds just rekt him in all 3 fights in 2 seconds and dgaf about his mechanics :)
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Yea I did dps murder him earlier, thing is I'm not entirely sure about the boss mechanics yet, so when he spawns do I have to wait for him to spawn things and kill them then izaro?

Either way Furnance+rotating spikes+tele=death, you just run out of flasks, furance=1 life flask use or maybe 2 if in bad spot, rotating spikes - avoid - bit easier, combine those 2 with tele around at will = no flask charges real quick, I survived that and because of surgeons curse removal I could stay alive to gen some more charges, but with no more life flasks ... just a matter of time.

edit: I have legacy 5l/6s light coil - great physical mitigation with grace and Iron reflexes and taste of hate - ie. He doesn't do that much dmg its the teleporting through traps, leap slam is not effective at moving out of traps, its effective at avoiding all together but if you get teleported into trap while fighting its kind of a dumb mechanic unless you are using whirling blades, and to use that I would need a dagger, not mjolner's, or dual wield them forgoing shield and therefore alot of defence.

I'm not a fan of the whole - only these build's can do this type of mechanics (ie. atziri etc), and yes i know melee can suck but seriously this character is pretty good at most things but now we have teleportation into traps without warning (can't avoid, attack speed will mean you end up in it and running towards him though most probably others).


and finally I will say this - take away the silly must have all ascendancy points too respec in any way requirement, if you make a mistake (i know i did) you must complete the merci laby to be even able to buy respec, im fine with it costing more but that part is just plain stupid and stops people from testing builds.

dont get close to him when he is in green aura mode, within that radius he will teleport players to traps

and u have 1 sec window b4 that spike hit you. Pretty easy avoidable I say.

One of the only few situation he might kill you is, you get hit by poison dart = slowed + his green projectile thingy then just shortly follow up by his sword swing in ur face. My ranger died in that situation, I ended up swapping out my armor for kaom heart, so I can take all those hits without dieing (did him easy on a first try without sweating lol HP > all)
