what's the point of duelist

Duelist bad? You upset me guys! Play him as a tanky-dps and you will see he is a good and versatile lad (tanky-dps).

This guys how are whining here are just bad or to lazy to play a class that will be a bit harder than a boring ranger standing on the other side of the map shoting 5 min then come arund to see what is dead... for me Duellist is totaly fine in the first 40 lvl bittel low HP but after u got 2,5 k kp+ and tons of atk speed lifeleech and u can facetank everthing wehn ur donig it right and not brain afk jumping in like 20 blue mobs how refekt dmg.

Well ok, but I wanted to start a Duelist just now, but the fact you all saying that Duelist will get upped... well should i start one anyway and the tree will just remain the same but better % of nodes, OR should I just wait till the changes... ?

Would be kinda bad to have a Duelist and that my build is fucked up with tree changes...

Some say that Duelist could just have their passive back to zero so they can all reassign the points, but some rangers / marauder that are passing through the Duelist tree, what will happen to them ? This is unlikely that they will restart the passive points of a already existing Duelist in my opinion...

I wouldnt expect an overhaul, rather just buffs to existing nodes.

I like the armor design of the duelist and that its a str/dex hybrid. So i can try out more than with marauder or shadow i think. Atm iam farming orbs and regrets with my new created 1h/shield duelist with a new skilltree idea to complete the respec from 1h/shield to 2h sword on my lvl 73 but still can run 69 maps if theyre not to hard mods on it. So far so good with the little 1h/shield duelist, speedrunning through the content even if iam 6 levels lower than the area. Some pics.
