One (Free) Premium Stash Tab for Everyone

First, I must say I really could care less for non-paying players problems and drama, cause I think GGG is here to make money and they deserve every money they can get.

The bottom line is, by being free to play GGG attracts users and they can convert them into paying players down the line.

With that in mind, it would help immensely the companies bottom line if GGG gave 1 free premium stash tabs for every account, on top of the 4 normal ones.

This would introduce every player to the usefulness of premium stash tabs and give player the possibility to trade with ease. By giving 1 free, they will sell more premium stash tabs or upgrades, cause people will have a taste of the candy, but have to pay more to get more.

And since as of now, playing with 4 stash tabs is almost impossible, unless you muling like crazy, the 5th one won't make anyone satisfied, people will still want more.

So give 1 free premium stash to everyone, stop the drama, and earn more money $$$ so this game can keep getting better and better with expansions and content that sure must cost money developing on the new headquarters that look great.

Sidenote:
Don't make it possible to gift MTX or stash tabs, this will lower your income, since there is people with thousand of points from supporter packs which would flood their friend list with free MTX and lower you income and player Monetization from these friend of affluent player.

I agree on every level. It is, in the long run a win/win situation for everyone.

Without luring me I wont buy any stash tabs because I still post and manage all of my sales *by hand* via the ingame forums in a way that indexers can read them. Yes, those people still exist.

You can still use the trade tools already in place without the need for a premium tab......

Yeah. I have been posting the same thing in a few other threads (not as well put of course :)). I agree.

If GGG choose not to do this I am also totally fine with it. This is an optional feature and not in any way mandatory. I do not get all the complaining about this at all.

I hate to play devil's advocate (j/k I f'king love playing devil's advocate), but it is reasonable to have trading tied to premium tabs. That is how the "suck me dry" phase begins: you first buy some tabs. Then you buy some more. Then maybe with the spare change you buy some MTX. And so on.

I suggest a compromise: the first time an account buys extra tabs, one of those tabs will be a premium tab at no extra cost. Apply this retroactively, so that people who already have extra standard tabs (but no premium tabs) will have one of those tabs converted to premium on the launch of Ascendancy.

I am hoping the indexers stop indexing the forum and just monitor the public stash river stream. This will save tons of money on GGG bandwitch.

Parsing the entire forum is a problem for GGG(upload data) and for indexers (download data), so I really hope it dies and don't care about the free-players cries.

Only wish they give 1 free premium stash tabs to free player, to lure them and GGG gets more money, and save money on badwitch while appearing like the Good guy.

Premium stash tabs are actually pretty useless for non-traders if you only have one.

I believe that:
* non-Premium tabs should get the Public checkbox
* non-Premium tabs should NOT get tabwide identifiers - if you're that cheap, price each item individually
* the number of Premium tabs people should get for free is ZERO

When you put it this way, one free tab to get people started and to hook them into buying more (or buy upgrades, maybe have a one-time special deal for each account where you can upgrade the 4 starter tabs for 50 points?) sounds like a good idea to me. Also, it might be time to expand the stash by a tab because of just how much more stuff there is in the game, but the storage for free players has remained the same.

That said, I don't see people not indexing the forum anytime soon. I do, however, see them indexing the forum a bit less since a number of people will convert over from posting and constantly updating trading megathreads and will just use the in-game features. As a result, the indexers will pull less data from the forums overall.
