How to convert all physical damage to elemental?
I want to find a way to conver as much physical damage as possible into elemental damage. How to do that? Phys to lightning gem converts only 50%

Take avatar of fire and use physical to lightning : you are now doing 100% fire damage.
You can also use Molten Strike, Static Strike , lightning strike , Ice Crash and glacial hammer to convert 50% of your physical damage into another element wich will be converted to fire in the end. Some unique items like Chernobog pillar (fire) and Hrimsorrow (cold) also convert some physical damage to another element. Last edited by IceDeal#5895 on Mar 1, 2016, 1:03:52 PM

This varies on what build you are.
Varying uniques can convert physical to elemental/chaos You can corrupt a quiver to convert 10-30% damage into an element (What element, and what % is up to RNG) Some neat little uniques can do full conversions Let's say you want to do a full lightning damage build. The EASIEST way to convert all physical to lightning is to use Lightning Strike and Physical to Lightning. Just an example, many more examples out there. Unique Map Making~

blackgleam quiver is another one that converts 50% of your physical damage to fire damage.
essentially you need to use a skill that already converts some then its easy |

" I thought I knew a bit about conversion rules but I'm confused by your example. It seems to me that with Avatar of Fire + Physical to Lightning you would have the following distribution: 50% of physical damage to fire from Avatar 50% of physical damage to lightning from support gem 50% of lightning damage to fire from Avatar 50% of lightning damage disappear because "deal no non-fire damage" making you end up with only 75% of the original physical damage as fire. The example at http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Damage_conversion seems to support that. Where am I wrong? scroogetemplar / scroogewitch / scroogemarauder

There are at least 40 ways to do so...

"You're right, you're missing 25% of your initial hit in the end. Call of Brotherhood ring can fix this ; it converts 50% lightning to cold (which can then be 100% converted to fire with Pyre, if needed). Ranger builds list: /917964

There's also the Cold to Fire Support Gem which converts 50% of Cold to Fire on top of adding up to 30% extra Cold Damage as Fire Damage (so it's quite a good Support in it's own right.)
Cold2Fire+Avatar of Fire is an easy way to get 100% conversion, and it also makes Izaro's Turmoil a really efficient budget Jewel for Damage (up to 50% increased damage basically.) PS. @Sheriff_K: it has no real meaning, it could be a panini sandwich with olives in it (literally, it's what it means), but truth is Olives come from my first name (guess?) and Panini is derived from Pan, a nick that I've used for some time, which comes the comic Peter Pan from Loisel, a well known comic author in France.
