Interaction between Totem and chill/curse
I notice when I or my totem stand on chill ground, cast speed of the totem are reduced. So that mean if both me and my totem are chilled, the cast speed will be reduced 2 time, cause totem's cast speed is calculated from character's cast speed?
And what about curses? What happen if both me and totem are cursed with Enfeeble? I read from the wiki that summoned totems are only affected by auras that affect defensive properties, not offensive, but not sure how it work again chill, curse or any other effects. Any help would be appreciated :) Last edited by H0X9#4347 on Feb 26, 2016, 10:39:28 PM

totems can't be cursed
"Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason
is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |

" Sorry but where is the source of this information? Some time ago I also read that totem can't be affected by elemental status, but from what I see, it still can
"No. Chill (as well as Freeze and Temporal Chains) is a Slow effect. It does not modify cast speed (which is a property of a skill), but modifiers the speed at which an object can do things. Since it applies to the object, not the skill, you being chilled (or frozen) does not affect your totems in any way. "Totems cannot be cursed. If you are cursed, then any properties of the curse that affect your skills (such as cast speed modifiers) still affect your skills even if a totem is casting them for you. And properties that affect you (such as defensive penalties) have no effect on the totem.
