elementalist sucks for pure ele builds, occultist is much better

HMMMMM... :D

ahah, yes, that's what I mean
if I think about witch+elements the result it's not that crappy sub tree, good only for discharge/coc-EE/coil users

so in general it means that i'll have 4 seconds of increased ele damage, then 6 seconds without it, then 4 seconds with, and so forth?

bump, was wondering the same myself.

Is it 4 seconds on, 6 seconds off? or 4 seconds on, 10 seconds off? because if it's the latter, I'm not going to bother with this node

It's four and six.

Thanks for the confirmation. Having taken Beacon of Ruin already, would you agree that it seems like Pendulum of Destruction would be a better use of the last 2 points than Paragon of Calamity?

Dunno, whether it worth using or not, but i consider Paragon not to be effective, since you need to be hitted... 8% reduce- and 40% increase- are so unreliable, while Pendulum gives (if it gives) 100% ele damage every 6 seconds.
Paragon of Calamity is best with converted damage taken. Eg: Lightning coil, cloak of flames, taste of hate.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
