How much life do you get per level? Level 70 and only 3729 life.

HI

Wiki says you get 12 life per level, but from 69/70 I got 30 life.

Does life per level increase as you go up. I've got stacks of nodes, and life on most items.

I usually end up at 90 with 5.5k life.

I have 3729 life and 400es.

So the question is, based on that figure, how can I predict my life pool at 80 85 and 90 if I take no more life nodes?

You gain 12 base Life per level - this value is of course boosted by Increased Life bonuses.
The offline planner can give you a precise number if you put in your Passives and gear. Alternatively, check your total %Increased Life, multiply 12 by that value and you have your Life/lv. It'll be around 30.

ty

Yes it is around 30

It's odd because on other chars, I've had more life and I've grabbed a s***load of nodes.

:)
30 per level says you have 150% increased life (12*2.5 = 30) which is more than Ive ever had at lvl 70. But 3.7k is less than Id expect for such increase

base life also comes from items and from strength. Perhaps the other chars you made were strength based?

Whats odd is that I have 273 str which is huge - so I'm a bit stuck as to why my life is so low.

:(
You have a total of 406 flat Life from gear, which really isn't all that much. Your gloves and amulet give you nothing at all, and the shield offers next to nothing. Those are places for big improvements, but that's not all your can do, either:
Strength only gives 1 Life per 2 Strength. As such, a Heavy belt gives 15-20 flat Life, whereas a Leather Belt offers 25-40. Similarly, your Rings can give 20-30 more a piece. These small improvements here and there do add up to something noticable.

(assuming we're looking at Turnipheads the Shadow)

Yep- right char.

If I lose the gloves - I lose a lot of dps, but I'l lose them if I'm not up on life soon - I have some really great back up gloves.

I'm working on the shield ATM.

The AM gives so much dmg, Id hate to lose it but may do if Im 85 and still low.

I think 70-90 on the shield would help a lot.

And I'll get rid of the gloves if need be.

My dps at lvl

70 is 21k so I could lose some of that for life definately.

I'm upgrading one piece at a time.

Thx for all the great response to this.

It's absurd how much invest you need from gear and life to maintain any reasonable amount of life. most times you're forced to take the scion life wheel because most class starter nodes have paltry 4% + pointless bonus.

Check out my LA build: 1782214
I have taken every life node in the shadow area and ALL scion wheel life nodes, have life on most of my items and a 6% life jewel and I'm still
only at 4k

WTF?

Templar gets a lot of life+scion wheel and my duelist had 5.7k

I think the shadow gets f***ed when it comes to life nodes TBH

but you play shadow for that damage. not life. it is a build decision you make.
