Sound warning on low health

When your health drops below certain percentage it would be nice for the game to give a sound warning or make health indicator flash to draw attention. Just a small thing to make it easier to concentrate on battle at hand.

Your light radius dims and I believe a red tinge encroaches on your field of view.

I always know when my health is getting low because of those two things.
Good to know, but a sound warning would be a good addition too. Like a loud heartbeat would add to the atmosphere >:)
This would not be unreasonable to add as an option (as if the other cues weren't warning enough). On a lighter note, I'm surprised someone hasn't put up at least one video with Halo's shield warning beeps and regeneration hum spliced in where appropriate...

As i not in game yet and still waiting on a key.I have yet to experience the delight of the game but as some one mentioned a loud heartbeat would be good on low health and it would get faster the lower it gets when you get to the point of say critical then would slow again as you slowly regenerate health.
Agreed. In the heat of combat especially against multiple opponents it's easy to lose track of your health.

I'd make a further suggestio here which is an option to automatically drink a health or mana potion at a player determined level
I was thinking this needed to be added as well.
Good idea.
I like the suggestion of a heartbeat that beats faster as health declines. It could also increase in amplitude so that near death all you can hear is your quickly beating heart as it overrides the sound of everything else.

Sense of self-preservation and all that. I could imagine that if someone that is really dying, all their senses will tend to focus inward and the victim becomes oblivious to his surroundings as the whole mind is now focused on what it must do to stay alive...
