Ascendancy class mechanics
How do they work? Is it true that we get only 6 points?
Because if it is so, that'd encourage you to choose, which is always a good thing partly because it fosters alt creation and poartly because, let's face it with an example of an interesting choice, Shield Duelist: Gladiator or Champion? They both have their definite upsides. And within Gladiator, you could always go down the damage path or the defense path. And the ultimate horror: Shield Champion: Say you take permanent Fortify. Say, with 6 points you've got 2 left, right? So, what will you take now? Inspirational or First to Strike, Last to Fall? I am eager to learn more about this. |

" That's not quite what I was looking for. Unless you really want to tell me that we'll be limited to 6 points / Asc Class. But I don't think anyone really knows the answer to this seeing how most of the fine detail info isn't released. But I am hungering to know these things that'll make or break Asc for me. |

Yes, you only get 6 points. 2 from each difficulty. Quote from the website:
"There are 19 new Ascendancy classes, each with its own additional Ascendancy Skill Tree to master. Upon completing the Lord's Labyrinth for the first time, you can pick an Ascendancy class from one of the three available for your class. The first time you complete the Labyrinth on each difficulty, you will receive two Ascendancy Points for its skill tree." http://www.pathofexile.com/ascendancy/classes |

" Yes, i do. It is even written there, as magvest mentioned. 6 points. 1 Ascendancy class. There were a lot of "revealing" videos about Ascendancy already. (http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/news) Check those out if really eager to learn more. If you just want other people to spoon-feed you all the known info - just say so and they'll probably post it here. Remember, suffering is convenient.

Being spoonfed info is nice.
So, you get 6 points and that'll require quite some difficult decisions. This is anti-vanilla PoE(by itself / Asc.classes when mixed with your own class actually open up the options), so it left me curious whether there was some Orb or something that gave Asc.class points. Now, I'll have to recreate my characters, etc etc. And do some difficult choices. |

" You mean refund and reassign Ascendancy class skills using an orb? If so, 5 Orb of regrets are required to refund 1 Ascendancy node. It's mentioned somewhere in a video by GGG I think. |
