Blessed orb on legacy implicit modifier

I have a legacy Chin Sol:

This version still has the implicit "increased elemental damage" property that was later removed.

Can I use a blessed orb to reoll the value of this property? Considering that the current version does not have it at all I am afraid of completely losing the implicit mod...

Thanks in advance!
Similarly what happens if i blessed orb an item that does not have an implicit on the legacy version but has it on the new version?

Blessing your Windripper won't work, because it does not have an implicit.
Blessed rerolls in the current range of the mod. I think if you use it on an item that the current range doesn't exist (ie current range might be 0 - 0) you will remove the mod. But I'm not positive. Never tried it.

@OP: Blessed orbs will re-roll the legacy implicit, not remove it. Tested a Chin Sol for another thread like this. :)

It had 11%.
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.
only a divine orb can remove legacy modifers, roll within the new affix range or add new modifiers if the item got buffed.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Thank you very much!
With one blessed orb I changed the implicit modifier from 6% to 11%. :)
The information from Shovelcut and vio was spot on!
