Banish the Shadows (2.1)

Explanation:

Spoiler
First off, this is somewhat of a work in progress. I want to figure out the most efficient way to make use of IH.

The build focuses on using Incandescent Heart, a quite ignored item, to its full potential. Because of its enigmatic nature, it can cause a lot of headscratching as to the point of it: how could it ever be considered best in slot? Well, if you think about the bonus of IH + CI as less of a "bonus", but more of a combination that can make up for losses, it can begin to make some sense. Obviously, the most immediate bonus of CI is the ability to make use of two 49% MORE physical damage multiplier gems. We will also use Blood Rage - Immortal Flesh's life regen counteracts Abyssus's increased physical damage taken affix, as well as provides a -50 physical damage taken from attacks affix. If you take an average of 300 damage from a physical based attack, 50 of it is removed, therefore it provides a ~16% physical damage reduction for smaller "swarming" attacks; not to mention 40% increased armour while not affected by status ailments. Shield Charge linked with Fortify will be used to further reduce incoming damage, as well as for movement.

IH counteracts Immortal Flesh's reduction to maximum resistances. This belt used in conjuction with IH and Abyssus is effectively the equal but opposite of Lightning Coil. There is no chance of being shocked by physical damage. It is also much cheaper than Lightning Coil and Shavs, and just as effective.

Unique gear:

Spoiler
Incandescent Heart, Immortal Flesh, Abyssus (with lowest critical strike multiplier for reflect maps), Aegis Aurora (or high AR/ES shield; the +5% cold resistance from Aegis will help with reflect), Doryani's Catalyst, Romira's Banquet

Rare Gear:

Spoiler
Focus on high ES boots, gloves, amulet, and ring; attack speed on gloves. The most difficult feat to accomplish will be getting high enough resistances.

With Aegis, you can get around 4,500 ES. Using a rare shield instead of Aegis, you can reach 5,500+.

Auras:
