Quick poison and damage conversion question
Poison can only be applied by Physical and Chaos damage.
Does this work like Hatred where pre-conversion damage counts, or does it only apply based off the final damage type. Example: Using Lightning Arrow with a Physical to Lightning support gem: 100% of your pre-conversion damage is physical. 0% of your post-conversion damage is physical Abilities like Hatred have text that say it is based off your physical damage, but apply here because your pre-conversion damage was physical. Does poison also work off your pre-conversion damage like Hatred, or does it only apply to the post-conversion damage (which would be 100% lightning and thus would not inflict poison damage)? Edit: I'm basically trying to see if I should pick up the Fatal Toxins tree with a Lightning Arrow build or if it would just be 3 wasted points. Poison works with the amount of physical and chaos damage you actually dealt to the enemy, so that's post-conversion.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
