DIablo 2 LOD mods

hey, I have been away from PoE for the last 2 weeks trying to find the best d2 mods to play since I just wanted something diferent for a bit but should be back for the race events...


me atm I'm playing 2 mods atm, zy-el and hell unleashed, both pretty good, I've played also median xl ultimatu. didnt finish it but i wanted something more challenging like zy-el or hell unleashed, zy-el is such a hard mod at the begining but gets better after an hour or 2 once you get your first skill or two... my first character bugged out so i made another one, guess ill have to back it up every once in a while incase it bugged out again and cant play the character.... hell unleashed is really fun, im about to finish act 2 soon enough and the bosses are quite fun to play...


anyways do you guys play any diablo 2 mods and which one, and how did you like it?..

The only Diablo 2 mod I have extensive playtime is Eastern Sun. It was pretty good. I recommend checking it out.

Yupp, Eastern Sun is great.

MedianXL also seems to be loved by the community, but I personally hate it for being so extreme flashy and totally AOE dependend. Not my style.

I'll give a positive recommendation for MedianXL.
The itemization and possible builds are insanely good and the end-game challenges are tough even for veteran ARPGers.

still in alpha testing, played 5 min and just wow,.... btw only 2 classes atm..

one thing that amazed me immediately was killing a skeleton, kill the skeleton, it dead, revives as a skinless, kill it, and then it's dead. man this innovation, looks minuscule, amazed me right away...

btw if your having trouble installing it just check the documentation, had problem at first, it guided me within minutes checking the Q%A

Edit, like median, this mod is also a complete conversion...

Edit #2... my bad, there is actually 3 classes, and a new update that been updated not so long ago i believe, maybe this year?

Edit #3: gold is picked up automatically instead of having to click to pick it up, awesome...
I think ill keep editing things i like so far about this mod
