Dual mf fire totems and consuming dark?

I have been following a guide to make a MF fire totems build. I found a consuming dark and was wondering if I should use that? Not sure if I have to gear, gem, or change passives to make it work better? The guide didn't say anything about weapons really but the stats seem great and I've heard people use it with a fire totem build?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
