sure? I think "physical attack damage" is no "attack damage"? What is the difference?

Wiki says :

Leech: Leech effects that apply to Spell damage and to damage types dealt by Blade Vortex (Physical by default) will work as usual.

attacking means you are using a weapon to perform the attack and it is using the weapons base damage and you are not you are casting blade vortex an it does not use your weapons base attack so attack dmg leached will not work, you can literally only leach from the life leach gem and a doris belt.
"Attack" is not the general term for any type of damage. It's one of the four primary damage types (attack, spell, secondary, DoT), of which all damage is exactly one type. Specifically, attack damage refers to damage dealt directly using a weapon.

Spells are not attacks, by definition. As the wiki says, physical damage leech will work. For example,

However, physical attack damage is very different and won't work with Blade Vortex, or any other physical spell.
