Elemental Ice Crash Scaling

So I was wondering if I use elemental damage and auras for elemental damage would that work with ice crash. For example if i used wrath or anger and had nodes like increased lightning or increased fire damage would they increase the damage while using ice crash. The reason i ask is because it is a cold attack and was wondering if only cold damage would affect it.

The elemental tag is just the way a skill is classified, it means it will be affected by '+ to cold skill level' or 'increased crit chance with cold skills'. However, glacial hammer doesn't really have to deal any cold damage if we had a mace similar to Oro's sacrifice it wouldn't deal any at all and it would still be a cold skill.

An elemental build with glacial hammer would be very similar to a build using heavy or double strike, the conversion wouldn't do much for an ele build because your physical base and scaling will be low.
