At what point are you considered wealthy?
Hey!
At which point can you consider yourself wealthy in PoE? I'd like to bring fresh leagues into discussion, cause of their fresh economy. Right now I only play one character in Talisman (Lvl 92 Ranger) and when it comes to comparing it to my other characters that I used to play with in other temporary leagues (and the amount I have played) I can say that I'm... broke as hell... So, I'm wondering how rich is an average player in these temporary leagues at this time, at around lvl 90 plus? I think I can value the gear I use at around ~8 exalts. While in my stash I have around 2 exalts of raw currency and 7 exalts in valuable items (not counting 1C-2C tabs, shitty uniques, Q-gems etc). ...And at the same time some my friends that I play with have insane 6-link weapons and armour (which alone are valued at 30 exalts) and 50+ exalts in raw currency... and yet they have played the same amount that I have! How do some people pull this off? I haven't exactly asked them directly... GMT (+2:00) Central European Standard Time

a) Magic Finding.
If solo - make a build that can clear maps as fast as possible, with as much IIR/IIQ gear as possible withgout losing clearspeed. If in a party - create a culler. b) Trading. Buy an item for 1ex, sell for 1.5-2 Repeat until forever, if you don't spend the earned currency on your own build, you can go from 1ex to 20-30 in two weeks, and only higher from that. You need to know the market though. Increasing Field of View in PoE: /1236921

Wealth is measured by time or completed character build. This is the question you need to ask:
If you stop getting loots today, how many days will you last? OR If you stop getting loots today, how many finished(acceptable) characters can you make? I need more purple titles

Fun exceeds wealth.
Are you having fun? Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

I value knowledge over currency or items, or time spent. "Level 92" doesn't mean anything if you cheated your way to it.

Meh, don't give me this fun exceeds wealth example.
If I can't afford good gear (meaning it is expensive) then that means I clear slow, deal very little damage and die often... I don't think I would be having fun... (yeah, yeah... I know that portion of this game is about farming). I like Nephalim's and Ocylix responses. It seems like it requires a lot of wealth to create enjoyable/viable builds nowadays. There are SO many interesting uniques, but most of them are only good for low-med level progression and therefore cost very little. GMT (+2:00) Central European Standard Time

" That's bullshit. ^This is a mate of mine i chat with regularly and play with occasionally.(i play a lot solo) Clears top end content for a few chaos worth, self-found. Fast speed, safe etc etc yada yada. People are just not creative in my opinion. You can easily abuse mechanics if you understand them and turn them into your benefit. And that, that's fun > wealth. Running tier 14 maps with 15 chaos worth of gear = fun. (just my opinion though) Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

It doesn't work well with all builds.
15 chaos worth of gear would equal in being super squishy. I don't like struggling in 14-15 tier maps, that's no fun. GMT (+2:00) Central European Standard Time
