NEW Loot Filter Creation Tool - www.poelootfilter.com

Hi Exiles!

Today I have launched my own loot filter creation tool that is accessible anywhere. It is currently in beta so any bugs that you come accross, please feel free to email me from poelootfilter under the poelootfilter board on the right hand side, or alternatively you can just post to this thread.

I will do the best of my abilities to fix any issues that may arise as soon as possible and ensuring I can give the best possible user experience for the Path of Exile community.

I would love and appreciate if the community could support poelootfilter and help sustain development by clicking "Support me Exiles" on the top right corner of the home page.

Looking forward to further implement features that could make poelootfilter more efficient and all suggestions will definitely be taken in to consideration!

That's an understatement if I ever read one... It makes no sense whatsoever.

'Drop your blocks here' - Okay, what block? It won't take text, it won't take raw files, and it gives you a some total of zero instruction whatsoever.

Take it back to the drawing board, you put the chassis together but forgot the engine and wheels.

Here's one that works, and makes wonderful sense: http://bschug.github.io/poedit/poedit.html#zqLVYMvJ
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.

Firstly, the OP, whom I do not know, stated it was a "beta."

Second, I believe the "blocks" are under the left heading of "drag blocks," appropriately named "show/hide." Although, this did take me about 30 or so seconds to figure out.

Third, I do not disagree that the app could become a lot more user friendly. It certainly could, as well as, improve functionality.

Finally, I just thought your response was rather short, and rude. Rather dismissive, and a touch disrespectful. On the other-hand, you at least provided feedback, which I am sure the OP appreciates. Maybe, just like you might appreciate his/her efforts to contribute to the community.

Have a nice day.

I disagree about it being not very user-friendly. After glancing over all the text on the page it's pretty clear what you're supposed to do there. It works well enough to be usable, the only thing I would want out of it is for the appearance options on each block to be easier to get to and maybe a way to import filters to edit. But I'm spoiled to filtration. :P

@OP: Nice tool, thanks for putting in the work and sharing it with us.
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

Really appreciate the feedback here, althiugh I must say like others have, there is no need to go back to the drawing board because it works and it does what it needs too, I am happy with the REAL feedback that has been provided and am looking forward to improving for all :)

As for responsive, it was responsive and then I realised its not the kind of application that needs to be, i make responsive sites daily for work but in some sotuations, responsive is not ideal.

Appreciate all the feedback and keep it coming, dont forget to like my facebook page, thank you.

just a short comment, besides "thanks" for your effort.

Separating menues into "what" and "how" would be more intuitive. Select what item you want to show/hide and then select colour/border/whatever.

Do we need to allow facebook-scripts to make the site work?
I allowed the ones for your site but not facebook (it's a principle) and the fields "action" and "preview item" is not a button with some action but just plain text.

(yeah, intended or not... fill up the scion is... nice :D )

I thought it was pretty clear what you're supposed to do. It's possible that there may be some browser compatibility issues...

OP, it's good, made perfect sense, and worked for me. But is there a reason to use this over Filtration, especially considering the more advanced features you get with Filtration?
