How many women play this game

It's impossible to know for sure. Many of us identify as male while in the gaming world.

Rakango top or Rakango bottom?

Are you questioning my gender identity? I'll have you know it took a long time for me to discover myself and I have faced persecution and discrimination from exiles everywhere I've turned.

What if I don't want to limit myself? Do I need Rakango bottom parts to be a Rakango top part?

ggg can only answer this topic from the small percentage of supporters they have but i would really like get this question answered too. just out of curiousity.

additionally it would be interesting which gender rather buys mtx being "on sale", trying to "save on the support money" they gave.

As a girl/woman/whatever, and being said this is not the average pink hello kitty unicorn game out there and I fully knew it when I joined, I have good reasons to believe such percentages would be void and hard to further motivate. Of course that's just my point of view, but I think the money range you are willingly to spend in the game tracks you better than your gender, hence why we are not asked at the registration for our gender.

i.e. if I can to spend 10000 points I would possibly include some fancy armor, but so would a man very likely. If I may spend 100 points only and I need space, certainly that's what I'll go for, and so would a man very likely. (My favorite sales are the ones related to stashes, and I think I am not the only one deeply liking those.)

The items in the shop don't seem to recall any gender division/preference aside the ones related to the classes of the characters, and I imagine also the percentage of men/women that don't want to play with a character that is not of the respective gender is fairly small, and within it men less willingly than women to play a character that is not of their gender. I've had some studies about this and men that don't like to play with girls characters feel uncomfortable while hitting on girls, question their sexuality and feel at wide discomfort with the idea they're mistaken as girls. Girls seem to enjoy much better to play with male characters to have their skills not discussed on the basis of their gender and to avoid unnecessary pampering or unwanted attentions, and they don't seem questioning at all their sexual preferences nor mind that they're mistaken as men. ...I'm not striding too far from the main topic, am I?
So yeah, that's going to be my signature.

Thank you it's very interesting you've stayed on the main topic and answered so many questions here.
It's always great to see that women also enjoy slaugthering rhoas and zombies.
was just talking to a co-worker and he said his daughter plays the game, so I know at least some girls/women play poe
The four people I introduced to the game (and who I know for sure then also actually played it for a while) were all women. That's not particularly representative, though. :) In general, heavily social games, like WoW, and virtual communities, attract more female participants than traditional video games, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of women playing shooters or ARPGs. My sadly passed away best friend, a woman, kicked my arse at shooters, as did an ex-gf of mine.

(In the second half of the 1990s, I worked for an online world named WorldsAway, which was something like an early form of Second Life, and we had over 35% female players based on CompuServe's account statistics. I felt that was sensational for the era and the medium, though the age average was also high, especially by today's standards: in the thirties, which, back then, made me feel like a baby. I wasn't surprised to bump into quite a few women in Ultima Online when it launched in 1997.)
I know 3. I_NO (not confirmed), Bex (confirmed), my ex (not confirmed, wololololo. Nah, confirmed.).

But honestly, what did you expect? :P Very few, obviously. Even fewer that are considered by "objective standard" "super attractive", and whatnot.
WTFBBQerino, stop oppressing me?!
I'm not considered "super attractive" or even "attractive", so I can say that >:D

So in general, this is a sausage fest. Also, I don't know what political correctness and PR are, so please, put down those pitchforks.
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

I don't think it matters if you're female; the few times I've stated that I am, I've been treated like a dumbass. HOWEVER, the other few times I've stated it, I've gotten some really neat stuff for no reason at all but I've also experienced a few boys that feel it necessary to talk filth or say shit in stupid sexual context. Gender doesn't matter here but it is always nice to actually find a fellow lady as we do seem like a rare demographic in Wraeclast.
