Give me advice about build

I want to create "tanky" templar, focused on 1h/shield setup
skills: standard stuff, enduring cry, glacial hammer, ground slam, shield charge, tempest shield molten shield

that gem in gloves is for another char btw

and in act 3 i have severe problems, dying often, even when switching amulet and rings to ones with elemental resists to prevent some damage
any advices about actual and future build? any help greatly appreciated :)

My advice:

Get enough (and only enough) armour and evasion to have a ~20% reduction in both.
Spend rest on HP/ES gear.

Second:
You claim you want a tanky build yet you don't take Discipline and Training which gives you loads of life (30*+life modifiers) and the +8% life nodes, instead you take strength nodes.

Third:
Use a good templar shield (those with 24%ish resistances). In act 3 I used:
. They are far from perfect but good enough ;)

Run the Purity and Clarity auras. try to keep your resistances at 75% each - it's not too hard for a mace/shield templar.

I don't have Discipline and training now, but it's the node im gonna take asap
that rift emblem looks awesome btw XD
what about mana reserves? taking 2 auras(purity & discipline) will reserve most of my mana, leaving me almost unable to use other skills

also, is it worth to free 8 points i used to take might and galvanic hammet and go toward 2 12%hp nodes and blood magic?

it may be necessary in order to use skills effectively :/
also, in act 2 & 3 majority of incoming damage comes from elements?

1) Take Purity and Clarity, not discipline. Clarity should solve most of your mana problems.

2) if you already have problems with survival, taking blood Magic might not be too smart.
