Is there a mod or filter to always show ilvl on items?
|
I am using NeverSink for item filter but i really really want something that shows the item level (ilvl) on all items without holding Alt.
Why is this bothering me? Because: -when i sell 3 maps to get the next tier i always have to press Alt so i can make sure they are the same ilvl (or close) -also i like to organize my maps by ilvl so it's a pain to hold Alt all the time -this includes when picking stuff up, i don't want to pick up low lvl items is there a way to always show the ilvl on items with a mod or filter? |

" ILVL doesn't matter for 3->1 map recipe. Map itself matter. You can't vendor 3 different maps with ilvl 77 and get 1 of 78. 3 of the same map vendors to next tier. Map conversion is "tiered" not "ilvl'd", and fixed " Read above. ilvl of the map doesn't matter. Tier does. " There isn't. " You can add a line, specifying ilvl and\or droplevel to filter Something like (don't ask why i need this ^_^) " Remember, suffering is convenient. That is why many people prefer it. " How can map ilvl don't matter? I don't get it. If i have 4 identical tier 6 maps for example: ilvl 69 Catacomb tier 6 map ilvl 75 Catacomb tier 6 map ilvl 75 Catacomb tier 6 map ilvl 75 Catacomb tier 6 map I really don't want to vendor mix the first 3 to get a: ilvl 69 Torture Chamber tier 7 when i can mix the last 3 and get a: ilvl 75 Torture Chamber tier 7 -the recipe will always get the next tier with the lowest ilvl of those 3, why would i not check the bad apples? |

Now i'm really confused. I did some searching and can't find what the map ilvl affects.
I always thought map ilvl was very important. Doesn't map ivl affect the ilvl of the drop? I always thought map tiers affect the rarity of items and map ilvl affects the ilvl of items dropped. Isn't this true? |

" Monsters will only drop items with item levels of equivalent level. So with a level 68 (tier 1) map the white mobs will be level 68 and can only drop upto item level 68.. whereas blue packs are map level +1, and yellow mobs are map level +2. So the maximum you can get from a map level of 68 is an item level 70 item. Last edited by Karix86#2722 on Dec 22, 2015, 12:31:58 PM

then map ilvl is extremely important, i don't understand why HarukaTeno said that the ilvl of the map doesn't matter (it clearly matters if it affects the drop level)
|

" No. Only the map level / tier determines the item level of the items which will drop, not the map item level. Even if a map has an item level of 75 and the map is level 68 / tier 1.. you will still only get the maximum of item level 70 from it. |

The Item Level of a map is different from the zone level of a map. You can have a Item Level of 100 for a tropical island map, however the mobs will still be level 68 regardless because that's the zone level.

Jesus Christ ..so ilvl and map level are not the same thing? :|
Talk about confusion :)) SO i think i get it now, so we have: -map ilvl -map level -map tier Map Level and Map Tier are connected to each other and map ilvl is worthless. This is the first time someone explains this to me, tks a lot guys. It's really counterintuitive to guess the mechanics of this game as ilvl is important in one part and completely worthless in another. :)) |

" Pretty much. Map level is basically what we had untill a few patches ago when they replaced it with a map tier system. Each tier represents the map level starting at tier 1 which is a level 68 map and each tier after adds another level to the monster level, so a tier 2 is map level 69, tier 3 is level 70 and so on. So as you go up through the tiers you can start obtaining higher item level items since the monster levels are higher. |
