Sharpnel Shot is one of the new skills, introduced with the new 3 month league Talisman. I play on normal, not hard core, but I'm sure you can make it work on HC as well as long as you get more life and evasion. The skill is great, combined with the Point Blank passive node, the Chin Sol unique bow and the Drillneck you absolutely WRECK everything. You don't really need the Drillneck, so if you exclude that quiver from the build, it's a cheap build too. It get's more expensive when you want 5 or 6 linked gear (bow and body armour), but I'm level 74 now, and still fly through mobs like they're not even there using a 4-link. Higher level maps might need the fifth and/or sixth link though. Why not physical to lightning and increased critical damage? I think faster attack is not better choice if you can one shot everything and build playstyle need to move you character everytime ;) Physical to lightning grants you really nice elemental damage boost And, if you get nice crit's, mana leech from passive tree will be useless, because you can buy 0,4 mana leech ring, gloves, jewel, amulet and it will be enought. You can try assasin's mark too or herald of ash for railgun (like old railgun ice shot build) effect ;) And Vaal Pact! You really need this because with chin sol and PB you have shotgun effect |

I'm working up my own version soon but happy to see someone else posting their builds and suggestions. My question is: what jewel are you running in the close spot?

Hi, thanks for your message, I found a really good jewel at the beginning of the league for way to few Chaos. Here are the stats: Name: Gale Arch Viridian jewel - 14% increased physical damage with bows - +14 Dexterity - 7% procent increased attack speed witch bows - 10% increased area damage How is your build doing? I reached level 90 yesterday. Pretty happy with the skill :) Posted an update video today, might be cool to check it out? Good luck, and have fun! Hi, phys to lightning is actually in the final build, tried it after reading your post. Unfortunately, I would need a 6-link to get it in permanently. I only use it on uber bosses like Atziri and high level Rigwald. I also made some other changes and posted an update for the build on YouTube. I think you'll find it interesting :) As I said, I really like this new skill. One thing about the faster attacks gem: Together with Poacher's Mark and Blasphemy, the more attacks per second you can unleash, the more the life on hit will keep you healthy. Also, because of the life on hit through this curse setup, Vaal Pact is not necessary. Saves you a couple of skill points. I'm gonna check your video now. Should be good :) How is your build doing? I really like your shotgun tanky build. Like bambambam :)
Mine shrapnel shooter 84lvl atm. Really strong. Yesterday killed double necropolis bosses in less than 1 minute. I use hatred-herald of ash auras, but like your tanky choice. Maybe try it too) |

So I'm trying to follow you build guide and having trouble with Act 3 Merciless. I'm only at ~1300 health. I see you're gear is mostly evasion and some armor. Why not invest entirely in Evasion? What do you suggest for survivability? I'm thinking Chin Sol and life leech would work to rebound from a hit.
What's your thoughts on using this for a quiver? It would maybe save on some +30 passive nodes. |
