Coop within the same league only?

Because you could just tag along. Also, GGG don't want items being traded between leagues, as this would ruin economies. It's hardcore for a reason and should stay that way. Play on both SC and HC if you want to play with friends.

I honestly think of Leagues as specialized servers; just a way of dividing the player base in a unique way other than having generic servers. That being said, there will probably need to be multiple servers for each of the Leagues regardless, but the effect is still the same.

Yeah coop in only the same league makes sense, I mean otherwise people will just trade items between leagues and coop will become the primary method of league item-trading.
