Donald Trump

A misunderstanding - I´m afraid it will change Politics of the U.S. and EU for the worse, even moderate parties are afraid, people would vote for the ultra right wing, not only here in Germany, but also in France and elsewhere. We already got harder laws in Germany and France within the last few months.
Yes, I also see djihadism as "right wing extremism". As I said before, I used to live and work in Israel for more than a year, I have an idea about real problems(both sides). There were many suicide bomb attacks on buses and I used to travel by bus all the time.

Here I helped a Syrian woman 2 days ago, who wanted to buy ingredients for baking, to find a shop, we have 500 Syrian refugees about 2 km from my apartment, which is no problem and I haven´t seen any (German) right wing activists here in the Northwest of Germany. Still I know they are attacking innocent refugees in their homes everywhere or stop buses like yesterday from the news, we have an estimated number of a few thousand neonazis and salafists, a few hundred(each) are estimated to be violent, only a few would be willing to become terrorists. And about a million peaceful refugees, even if two were arrested in the last few months, because they were terrorists - not refugees - planning attacks. That´s the numbers...
Any decisions driven by fear, xenophobia and racism will make things worse. If you mistreat people, they will react. Muslims could come to the conclusion, the west hates them because of our extremism. I see it working the other way around...

I´m not falling into any fear trap, but too many are and politics(all parties) have to react on the fears of them or things might get ugly(in 1933 33% voted for Hitler´s party, people hated/were afraid of jews (taking over)then and the economic situation was bad). That´s not comparing Hitler to anyone(his sickness could only be compared to Stalin imo), but hateful people can come to power fast or have at least too much influence, if things go wrong. That´s the little problem democracy has, if suddenly the dumb+fearful start voting. And from my time in Israel I have an idea of what happens, if you have extremists on both sides. Normal, peaceful people on each side have to suffer from them=circle of violence, I don´t really want to see an ongoing conflict between extremists in the west and in the Arabic world on a global level. Trump and others are fire starters.

The best chances to die too early here you would probably have on a German highway(we have no speed limit on them), the most unlikely is to get shot by a policeman:

YEAH! TAKE THAT REDDIT!

...

I imagine Trump in the white house saying hamfisted, Metal Gear Solid-esque speeches like: I AM EMPEROR TRUMP!, I AM THE CONGRESS!, LOW ENERGY! or BUILD THE WALL!

He is likely to be elected because the Democratic candidates are weak (Clinton has too much baggage, and Sanders is too flawed even if his message resonates). Then again, he pissed off too many people (and they would willingly vote against him), but if all comes to turn out, it could happen.

"So if he's nominated, could Donald Trump win this November's presidential election? Absolutely. It might take no more than a recession. Or a timely October terrorist attack or two. Fear and panic are strong motivators for really bad political choices. Look at the rise of far right parties today in Europe."

Trump is unlikely to get the superdelegates.

Same thing with Sanders.

Whoever is the most popular candidate will win the superdelegates. Voting against the majority would be political suicide for the delegates. Bill Clinton voted for Obama in 2008.
