[2.1] - CoC - Bladefall - Blade Vortex hybrid build idea

Planning to play this in talisman SC, and I'd love some feedback.

5l setup with voll's - rolling 4G1R on volls takes some chroms - see other thoughts section
cyclone - CoC- BF - BV - LL
6th link can be either pcoc, fortify, added fire
auras: hatred - discipline
HoF or blasphemy+assassin's mark -> need to take -reservation nodes on tree / use enlighten

My main concerns are:
- Reflect - surgeon's flask nerf might mean less than 100% granite uptime -> taste of hate helps this and synergises well with the build.
- Damage output - since the build uses the 2 new phys spells I have no idea about its clear speed/damage, which means I don't know if the leech provided is enough to keep me alive.

Other thoughts:
use lightning coil / carcass instead of voll's and PCoC on an other skill (whirling blades - fortify - faster attacks - pcoc?) to keep the power charges up

how will you land the attack hits?. you have no accuracy and no RT; Vagan weapon?.
can you craft +%to phys spell damage on it?

He should be using a Vagan dagger, as he will want the high crits of a dagger type, the hits cannot miss mod for both accuracy as well as crit second roll, he won't care about the increased physical dps of a more powerful weapon type, and daggers can have spell mods. The only downside is the smaller weapon range of a dagger for cyclone.

As for your socket color concern, it took me several thousand chromatic orbs to hit this:

I had actually wanted GGGBBB, but this combo was so rare that I couldn't bring myself to reroll it. Just keep that in mind in case you don't feel like farming 3000+ chromes this league.

With the poison reworks I think chaos damage is going to be more dangerous. That low of a life pool means you're going to need to invest quite a bit into chaos resistance or you'll die very quickly. You probably won't even be able to do desecrated ground maps with that tree.

You never mention what skill you will use to proc the coc? Like cyclone or barrage or kinetic blast or ... ?

I'm going to suggest using cyclone;

Anyway figuring out what to do next;

-> Defense -> Damage -> Gameplay

-> Defense

PCoC is inherit for Voll's so using blasphemy+assassin's mark isn't really necessary.
Well that is if you want voll's. In my opnion the leech needs to be pretty good for voll's to have any survivability.

So yes lightning coil would be a great defensive option but helas, almost unabtainble on new leagues enless you are lucky! c

Carcass Jack also very viable -> also unobtainable on the new leagues.

So what is left?
Daresso's Defiance / Belly / Tabula / Voll's

Anyway early game voll's / tabula is a great way to get started ... esp. a +1 tabula!

The bigger question I guess is how do we make this mess work together :)

I'm personally leaning towards scaling phy and chaos. phy can both enhance cyclone aswell as blade vortex - blade fall or even ek, espcially with some of the new passives.

This is all in the assumption that BV and BF scale like EK.

I would eventually roll with Cyclone - CoC - PCoC - BV - BF (or ek).

Might be EK en BF prove superior for fast clearing than BV. Don't know experimentation is needed.

Anyway to soup things up you'll need to add Empower or Added Fire. Don't know what scales best here level or ...

If you somehow get all your power charges through blashempy than you can switch out PCoC for another damage enhancer.

Anyway end-game I would roll with a Daresso's for endu charges and Onslaught. (which should enhance damage aswell), either go dual curse and add to blasphemy; or use the sharkskin boots. (no biggy if we lose boots slot)

So you would gen endurance charges / power charges / frenzy charges. Main focus here still being power charges though!

Proc IC via cwdt for extra defense!

-> Damage

Overall dmg will depend on how well everything scales ... Dedicated EK / BF might be better ? (expermintation needed)
