Any advice would be appreciated.
a) Depending on how much you plan to play, don't map your path out too far ahead of where you've been before. Level 91 is a perfectly fine and reachable goal, but don't make a build that hinges on getting to that level until you've done so at least once. (I didn't look at your tree though, just saying.)

b) Until we know more about the new gems and get patch notes with actual balance changes everything's up in the air. The tree is of less importance than the other changes and new introductions.

c) While I too love the concept of seeing things shrivel up and die slowly, it might turn into a very slow and annoying affair if the damage output is sub-par. In such circumstances it's great to have a back-up build considered, which might or might not be the same as the build you're using to level, which leads me to

d) You really don't want to level up using a single-target spell and what is likely to be a slow DoT. It's proper AoE mechanics won't work until later in the game when you have sufficient mana regeneration to sustain it, gear with enough links, enough nodes to get decent damage output etc. Pick something AoE-y and damage-y that doesn't tax your gear to use while levelling.
it looks good to me.

Ive been thinking of doing something similar with a ci es+evasion hybrid

when I opened ur tree it was broken cause I did it in the current website tree thing rather than the planner. I had not messed with trees for it but I kind of saw the general shape of yours and just replotted a simillar tree getting what I would have taken, without looking at the details of yours. Theyre very close, I think you basically took all the right paths and have a good amount of everything.

I took a bit more es and ev, a bit less damage, I took the ranger stun avoidance and mana and also 1 little point in the 4% reduced reserve just below CI notable. I didnt take flask nodes. Minor things really, I dont think they would impact the build that much either way round.

Im thinking if item availability permits

Spoiler

vertex has nice +1 gems, shield and chest flat ev + flat es + %ev&es. The build I have that uses these takes nullification and void barrier, runs discipline aura, ends up with 10k evasion + 11k es. Im not expecting gear quite like this but something with this kind of mod configuration probably at lower values. That belt you mentioned would be really good for this i think. The combo of evasion and fast shield recharge is really strong for a kiting type build, its cheap as chips too and comes with 10% increased damage.

I think Id aim to get as much evasion and es on chest, hat and shield as possible and put resists on these slots at a low priority, then get your resists on the gloves and rings, if you can get es and ev on gloves great but mainly go for like 40% all resist gloves and whatever defense they have deal with it. Rainbowstride boots are pretty much a given unless you find something better, which is unlikely. Obviously u can go pure es gear, and maybe at first you would because u need decent es totals, but I would advise slipping some evasion in if u can get it as it helps so much with recharge in a build that cant leech and cant regen. If you could somehow do all this and get zealots oath with decent life regen it could be pretty outrageous, but I just dont think it will work points wise.

I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
Thx a lot for your helps guys. I shall be very glad to follow all your advice. (Take real AOE first for leveling and play with invade/es at start then switch full ES)

DO we know if DOTS can life leech? and do we know if DOTS could work with ghost raver
There is only one type of "secondary" in Path of Exile, and that is secondary Damage ('neither Attack, Spell nor Damage over Time'). I'd also say that the Damage dealt by a Damage-dealing Spell can hardly be counted as secondary?

----
Contagion is an Spell that applies a Chaos Damage over Time effect in an AoE.
Elemental Proliferation is an aura-like effect: if the enemy walks outside EP range, the Proliferated status ailment will be removed.
Fireball is a Spell that deals Fire Damage in an AoE.

I'd say it's a fair bet that Conc will apply to Contagion.

regarding leveling a ci like this, Im pretty certain Im gonna do a build like this at some point in the league, this is how Id transition through to full ci...

Id start with this

taking 7 additional life nodes that are not in the final thing. Once there Id set myself up for ci like this...

and then use the passive respecs from quests to flip out of the 7 pure life nodes and take ci, infused shield and arcane focus all in 1 hit like so...

At first we just have pure spell damage in the witch so you can start with any spells and progress to the ones for the final build. When leveling spells its nice to stack dps with additonal skills. You want to find a skill you can spam damage with like freeze pulse, ek, arc, tendrils, whatever. Then you back it up with stuff that does damage without you having to spam, so you have a fire trap, a flame totem, we have these degen spells the build is centered on. You can throw down a fire trap, drop a totem and then start spamming freeze pulse into a pack and youve got triple damage being applied at once.

For all we know contagion might just rek everything as soon as we equip it, or we might have to use it in conjuction with other spells and then as we progress and get more chaos nodes the other spells fall off and the degens were going for start to hold their own.

Your best bet is to level everything that might be remotely useful from the word go, and remember to buy at least 2 extra contagions etc and start leveling them in the weapon swap to flip to 20% later on. Its likely this wont be my first character so Ill probably run an attack mfer and start leveling endgame gems for this build on that character.
