Summoning Class?

So I've been lurking the site reading about all the features and classes,but I noticed the lack of a summoning spells for the witch and thought that raising more powerful versions or elemental enchanted zombies would be a cool addition or maybe different types of monsters with different abilities.

Anyone else feel this way?

Yeah, the only summoner type thing I have seen in the announced skills (http://www.pathofexile.com/world/skills) is the ability to raise a zombie. Summoner classes are always fun though.

Yeah sorry I noticed this as I checked the skills page to make sure I wasnt ignorantly posting stuff lol. I updated my post.

Yeah, totally agree with you. Sommoners were ALWAYS such a fun class to play... you just summon a servant and they will do the job for you :o)

Hopefully,summoning a bunch of skeletons and running a train of hurt on monsters was a big favorite thing to do in Diablo 2.

The screenshot of the week is also relevant. (http://www.pathofexile.com/news/2011-08-10/screenshot-of-the-week-42) It's a witch using a "raise spectre" skill. So it looks like the witch will fulfill the running around with skeletons hopefully!! Haha.

A Warlock would kinda interesting to see,just to see how they are portrayed in this game universe,Shamans would be kinda cool to see but I think a darker esque kinda of healer class should come in to play to mirror the paladin and stuff,theres alot of potential for this game and I'm sure its gonna be incredibly awesome.
