Which do you do first?

Kaom or Daresso and why...

I used to do Kaom first because I thought it was easier. Then I did Daresso first for a while just to switch things up.

I think Daresso used to be the left one and Kaom the right one in the beta so maybe some people got used to do Daresso first too :P

As for me, I do Kaom first on hardcore, Daresso first on softcore...

I find Daresso to be way harder than Kaom. I usually have 1 more level and maybe better gear for Daresso then.

I do him first on softcore because I like it more.

Kaom. The area is safer to run for HC play. I usually level up in that area before progressing.

I almost always go do Daresso first, because it is faster.

I just whirling blades through all the arenas, killing the bosses when I have to to get the one gate to open, and then zoom all the way up to the boss.

I enjoy Kaom's area more anyway, so I don't mind that it is longer! Very cool tileset!

I personalty think Kaom is easier

To decide, I check one thing when I get to the end of the Cyrstal Veins.

Which is higher? My cold res or my fire res?

I'll do whichever boss first that I have higher resist.

If they're about equal, I do Kaom first, cause its longer.

Kaom, because his areas+bossfight are most 'laggy' in game so I want to have it done ASAP. I swear, even Malachai fight seems easier for me, at least till 3rd Heart. Then I go to Daresso and usually open each dialogue to listen to what he used to do at age thirteen or how he killed the man with his own dagger, while progressing.
I do Daresso first only when I am bored with my Kaom-first routine or hope to fix my fire res before I get to Kaom.

Totally agree with you, Kaom's path it's horrible, and those totems? I hate them.

I always go Deresso 1st and get the "meh" out of the way!

Save the best for last, Kaom, Harvest are my favourite areas of the game by far!

On a side note, whenever I fight Deresso and he states "you kill love" as per his realisation that we have killed his wife and children (merevil and the other squids) I find myself, without fail, thinking "seriously bro.....tenticles?" ;D
