help always lacking of scroll of wisdom rare map

hello everyone
maybe i need some advise because always i`m running some rare map i run out of scroll of wisdom very quick , i try always too pickup all scroll on the floor and have no choice too trade my portal scroll for the scrool of wisdom :( ,and after my character have any more scroll to identify my item :( so what part i`m missing or doing wrong ?? thank you to take time for help and advice sorry for my poor english play my first rpg on the intellivision :) Chris Wilson"I want to make sure that melee classes are as good as they can be" Last edited by charley222#3935 on Nov 10, 2015, 10:55:28 AM

What league are you playing in? Are you identifying every rare that you come across? Any magic items?

Keep in mind most other currency vends for wisdom scrolls also. Transmutes give the most bang for your buck (full stack nets you 4 stacks of wisdoms), armour scraps, whetstones, alterations and probably more that I'm forgetting.

converting armour scraps is probably your best bet...would have though though that you would get enough from the maps. i usually end up with half a stack in most maps

If you're identifying that many rares, vendor them all and then vendor some of the alterations you just got for wisdom scrolls. That's what I do when I do magic find runs.

I also am of the opinion that transmutes are best. Excess portal scrolls also do the job. If you have huge magic find (and bother to pick up every rare etc) you may find its worth buying wisdom scrolls from other players. Of course there is a higher cost involved than managing transmutes/portal/scraps but it can be an option.

A neat way to take care of this is to invest into a:
This will set you back a few chaos orbs (maybe around 10 in standard), but from then on you can vendor all portal scrolls that you come across. This essentially doubles the amount of wisdom scrolls that you will obtain. If you are short in the meantime, then either try to trade a single chaos for around 200 wisdoms in trade, or just vend a stack of transmutation orbs for 160 wisdoms. All in all, there are much better ways to do it than farming scrolls alone. If you are very strapped for cash, you could do the following:

1. Somehow, obtain a few dozen wisdom scrolls to begin.
2. Put on as much IIQ/IIR gear as you have. It doesn't matter how bad your DPS or survivability is. 3. Fill your flask slots with quicksilver flasks 4. Go to merciless twilight strand. 5. Run through everything (with quicksilver) straight to Hillock. 6. Kill Hillock easily. 7. Pick up all blue/yellow items that drop. 8. ID all items and sell for alteration shards. 9. This takes approx 1 minute per run/sale and will get you about 1 alteration orb 10. Repeat this for approx 16 minutes (until you get 16 alteration orbs). 11. Trade these orbs up to jewelers and then fusings at a vendor. 12. Trade your 2 fusings for 1 chaos in trade chat. (Should be easy. Lots of takers) 13. Trade for 1 chaos for 200 in trade chat. 14. Congrats, you just turned your 50 scrolls into 200 in less than 20 minutes. PS: You can skip a few steps if you can find someone in trade chat willing to trade alterations directly for chaos.
