" The MTR command has the same functionality as ping and traceroute. Check out the packet loss percentage and the worst "ping" latency response with the MTR report given to us: |1) | 804 | 804 | 1 | 2 | 9 | 1 | |2) 1 | 793 | 790 | 26 | 54 | 293 | 79 | |3) 1 | 793 | 790 | 27 | 47 | 290 | 64 | |4) 1 | 789 | 785 | 30 | 50 | 298 | 91 | |5) 1 | 793 | 790 | 26 | 50 | 293 | 55 | |6) 1 | 789 | 785 | 27 | 53 | 227 | 80 | |7) 2 | 753 | 740 | 27 | 52 | 160 | 66 | The second hop (and beyond) will not somehow have better latency if a different destination server is used. " In french: "Par le passé, j'avais un autre opérateur internet et aucun soucis particuliers avec. Je n'ai rien changé d'autres à mon installation informatique, seulement d'opérateur internet." For Hilbert: " |

The answer remains the same. Your connection problem is on hop 2, between the freebox and the ISP's office. Get on the telephone with your ISP.

You are highlighting the Worst response time his average is okay.
The average is okay. In France there are departments with a terrible network infrastructure such as Creuse and PLC isn't meant for constant datastreams. |

" What should I tell my operator because if I explain that I have a problems with a game, they will clearly answer me this is the game server that is involved " I am indeed in a city or line quality is deplorable ... |

I'm using the same ISP but only lag between about 18h 24h CET. I'm using a free vpn "ipjetable" if you want to give it a try, the only problem is you have to create a new account every 48h if you want the free version but at least you could check and see if it solves your problem.

" Tell them there's a problem with your internet connection, and that you're getting packet loss from the modem to them. Send them an MTR report if you want to provide evidence (for the destination Host, put www.free.fr instead of the Path of Exile server). They should be able to test the line themselves from their end, and also look for problems in modem's logs. Here's what my route to your ISP's webpage looks like. Yours should be faster, but you have an issue which causes periodic delays and dropped packets. 12.|-- www.free.fr 0.0% 300 154.7 155.4 153.4 169.5 1.8 Notice I have steadily growing latency as my packets travel 8796km? And my latency is better than what you get from your house to the ISP's office down the road. Last edited by ionface#0613 on Nov 9, 2015, 7:01:59 AM

Except that the worries is that I have no problem with the test www.free.fr

Run two tests now, one for PoE, one for free.fr, from that, it seems like the problem has gone away for the moment.
