Actually it is not low. The current conversion is 5 GCP = 1 Exalt, so that puts it at 75 GCP.
There are very few items in the game that would go for that price, and the ones that do sell for more then 75 GCP, are uniques like Kaoms Heart, that cannot be mirrored in the first place.
In CB, Mirrors were somewhere around 40-60 GCP, and they were not nearly as common as they are now, since we have more OB players.
That is not to say it isn't worth 15 Exalts. But I would never pay 20, ever, and I am one of the richest people in the game currently ( Demigod hoarders withstanding ).

It doesn't matter what they "were". Mirrors are priceless. Exalted orbs aren't that hard to acquire, and people are more than willing to part with a large amount of them to mirror some of the best items in the game.

How does one go around self proclaiming to be one of the richest out of 10 thousand players odd ? you got 500 gcp ?
