Bug with Number of Zombies I can Summon
The behavior I'm seeing is that I can always summon 3 zombies. It doesn't matter what level my gem is, what class I am, or whether I have Lord of the Dead or not.
Initially, this led me to believe that Lord of the Dead was not applying its bonus zombie. I then, however, found this thread: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/31430/highlight/ In that thread, it is implied that Lord of the Dead does grant additional zombies, and that the level of the zombie gem also affects how many zombies can be summoned. This is completely the opposite of what I'm seeing in game. I can summon 3 zombies at all times, regardless of if I'm using a level 1 or level 5 skill gem, if I'm a level 12 witch or a level 2 marauder, if I have Lord of the Dead or if I don't. This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

After playing on a copy of your character locally I confirmed that I could summon 4 zombies as intended.
The skill gem has been changed to be 3 zombies at all levels, which explains why it is not incrementing, the thread you have linked is quite old and outdated. Here are some screenshots done on your character: ![]() As you can see there are 4 zombies, and indicated in the top left there are '4', and on the skill description there are '4' as intended. ![]() Here you can see that the skill still explains that it summons 3 zombies. Try re-logging and such, if the issue still occurs try post relevant screenshots similar to the ones I have provided. Last edited by GGG_Neon#0000 on Feb 14, 2013, 6:06:28 PM

Thanks so much for looking into this! I would have replied sooner, but I assumed that bug report posts would go unanswered similarly to the WoW forums; I'm really, really happy to see this isn't the case.
The patch immediately after I posted the original bug seemed to fix the issue, but it is very possible that I simply wasn't trying to raise more than 3 zombies at a time because the text of the gem said 3 was the limit. Regardless of gem text, the in-game behavior is now correct. Once again, many, many thanks and keep up the good work! |
