Daresso's Defiance & Endurance charges

Morning all,

i was wondering how the Daresso's Defiance would work with its property:

You lose all Endurance Charges when Hit

Since you get 4% Physical damage reduction from edurance charges i wonder if the damage of that hit gets reduced before you lose all endurance charges or if you lose them before the damage gets applied wich would result in you takeing the full damage.

They will still apply to the hit that made you lose them.
