Soul Taker offhand question

If a use Soul Taker (axe) in offhand, with a skill like Glacial Hammer (that requires a Hammer) in mainhand, that means Soul Taker will not be used at all for attacks.
Will i still get the no mana consumption bonus of Soul Taker on my attacks with the hammer? ..also will Soul Taker's damage not even be used in the total of Glacial Hammer skill damage? (i heart dps tooltip is broken, that it shows combined weapon dmg when it isn't actually combined dmg, am i right?) | |

Yeap, you're completely right. You'll still be using only the mace, but will get the dual wield 15% more attack speed bonus, as well as the 0 mana cost thingy from Soul Taker.
Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.
