It mostly comes from how efficiently you play and time spent. With my playstayle.

top 10 would probably be like playing 10-14 hours a day
top 20 8-10 hours a day
top 50 about 6 hours a day
top 100 3-4 hours a day

I think.

And casual is playing 2 hour or less per day and some days not playing at all ... so the answer to the original question is "no, it's not casual"

Lol. It is ferrocet, the guy who even found leveling beyond level 70 an issue again.

Being NOT CASUAL is to have fingers three times faster than ordinary people, play twelve hours a day, have excellent sports IQ, having good social connections to help give one another advice or in game support.

Starcraft 2 is considered not casual, professional DOTA and COD are considered not casual. If POE is not considered casual, I really wonder if you can even be considered a gamer.

The guys who make level 100 ASAP usually do have a large group of people helping them. Also a lot of time and currency is spent.

Respects on the character going to 100 are usually really common. not odd at all to totally switch the character more than once after level 90.

yha people pulling packs for 1 guy to get max time vs EXP happens for sure , and that's not to big a problem if you ask me , thats just working as a team to your full advantage inside the game mechanics.

The EXP gear is a screw up however. Some players just get big time carried/rushed with crap toon to high level by party then spec over and over .

No matter what you do however it's alot of time invested. I don't know how much playing time the characters making 100 in a few weeks are putting in but I will go out on a limb and say it's absurdly high.

Finally, someone who understand the difference between "casual" and "non-casual". Honestly, anyone who thinks PoE isn't a casual game has never ever played a REAL competitive game... It's like saying SMB isn't a casual game because speedrunning exists.
[s]only mindless sheep think labyrinth is OK to have in PoE.[/s]
okay nevermind labyrinth, fix dx9 blackscreen instead...
