Orb of Fusing...

Okay.. So I got a item i got 4 sockets and I wanted to link the four together and I have went through roughly 10 and have only managed to link MAX 3 why is it this hard to link items... what is the percentage of success ? I don't think it should be this hard to link maybe they should allow to add a new link rather than to re roll a new random links

Pal if you're having trouble getting a 4L don't even think about the rage trying for a 6L will get you.

I can't tell you what the percentages are, but I will say that unless it is an item that has good enough stats that you will be using for a long time it is a waste to try and link them.

Maybe that's what you are doing already, but either find the 4+ link and adapt the item to good stats or get the good stats and then link.

I believe it was something like 200 orbs was the expected number to link a 6, around 50-100 for a 5, and 20ish for a 4.

Why do idiots always throw in a random bash of d3? D3 was too hard for the general player base at release so they had to nerf it a bunch. My guess is fpspro has never tried to craft a high end poe item and spent several hundred orbs with nothing to show for it.

5L is ~200.
6L is ~500.

Thanks for the info guys didn't mean for anyone to rage on me and its a searing touch i used a ton of jeweler orbs and managed to get 4 socket so I was happy with that not trying to get more maybe later on when i got the orbs but just been so hard to get 4L on it hehe so thanks again everyone for the help ! also I didn't mean make it super easy just seems like the random roll is kinda low is all take care and thanks again!

It is pretty clear that it is almost pointless to try for a 5 or 6L. Just convert those orbs to exalts and trade for what you want. Probably cost you much, much less

I wasted tons of fusing orbs on the CB trying to get a 4L maul. I am saving them up now for something special :-)
