Getting chroma and fusing orbs

Based on what you wrote, one of your issues is you're comparing what people say when they have reached end-game while you've rerolled 3 times and are still in the levelling process. While levelling, killing monsters is slow, running through the quest line is slow, everything is slow. Once you get to end game and farm maps, the rate at which you accumulate currency will explode. In normal maps, I'll easily get between 4 to 8 RGB items that sell for a chrome. Maps take between 5 to 10 minutes to clear. I can make in an hour what you did in the last week. There is no way around that other than to stick to one character and get to end game with it.

In your situation, I would also try to avoid using too many orbs while levelling, you outgrow gear very quickly so it is usually not worth using too many chromes, jewelers and fusings on low level gear. You'll use some for sure, but don't waste all your wealth on a level 24 chest piece.

Never use a currency on an item that you are not planning to use in endgame, you make lots of money by doing this.

Lots of good advice here. I wouldn't expect to be running maps in 5 minutes, unless your clearing similar sized zones in a few minutes. You can get to that point but probably it will require more learning and tweaking your character.

The game has a lot of intricacies. Once your capable of building a really good build and gearing it, you'll be purchasing bag space to keep track of all the loot.

Thanks for the filter. But these items do not drop very frequently either. Last evening I found two, the evening before I found 3. Both evenings together it totalled to 11 chroma orbs.

That is strange. I usually find loads of them. Also note that it'll only show white RGB-items. If you also want to highlight magic and rares you need to replace "Rarity Normal" with "Rarity <= Magic" or "Rarity <= Rare"; although I'd think you collect rares anyway, so <= Magic should do the trick.
