Daresso's defiance vs Voll's protector for a dicharger

Hi guys,

I'm currently lvling a classic discharge cyclone and it starts to work really nice (except for the survivability which is quite low :/).

But i noticed that i'm actually just using the power charge, and i generate very few frenzy charges with my blood rage even when i kill a lot of mobs, and i'm not running any endurance charge which is the second most powerful discharge after the lightning one.

As i have a budget build i cannot afford a voll's devotion to generate these endurance charges so i thought about using a daresso's defiance for it.

But but but as i said i can eventually afford a 5L Voll's or daresso's and not more so i have to do a choice :

- if i use voll's i will be able to put concentrated effect on it which boost a lot the damages.

or

- if i use daresso's i will get more armor and i will generate endurance charges but there will not be space for an extra gem as i have to put a "power charge on crit" gem (around 80% chance with full quality and lvl 20). So basically here i generate power + endu charges.

What do you think about this dilemna ? The question is does the endurance charges can compensate the effects of a concentrated effect and even be better for packs of mobs (and not boss as it generates when you kill a mob) or to keep a voll's to only use the lighning charges? I cannot decide myself about it.

I think, u wil have great problems with ranged mobs with daressos. U get hit, mean no charges, means no discharge.

The good thing on volls is, that as soon as u get ur 1st charges, u can just go boom boom through whole map none stop. That is also the only reason, to use it.

And dont forget PCoC is a 1 charge per use(if crit and proc ofc), while volls is 1 charge per crit, always. So power charges wont generate that good with daressos either.

I'm assuming that you by classic Discharge Cycloner means Cast on Crit?

In that case, a Voll's Protector is required to generate enough charges as it will generate several charges per crit as opposed to 1 from the others. No other option will generate enough charges.

If you are poor, try Mathils latest CoC Cycloner, using other spells than Discharge, it seems to work fine.

As for Conc effect, I would maybe use increased critical instead...

As for defence with Voll's, Acro and Phase Acro are viable options, combined with active use of flasks.
